Well, it's that time of year... NO! Not Halloween... Bosses' Day.
Here is a card I made for my boss. It's an easel card and I used a little coin envelope that I covered in DCWV paper on the back to hold a gift card.
The flowers from a Hero Arts stamp that I bought from Michaels. I stamped them in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I then colored with a variety of Copics and Liquid Pearls and Stickles. The sentiment was created with Jessie's ABC from Lawn Fawn. The ink used was Jenni Bowlin (Brown Sugar). The sentiment was die cut via a Paper Trey Ink die.
I love Jennifer Tidwell's site. She has such an unique style to making cards. She layers a lot and puts TONS of embellishments that just all coordinate so beautifully. Her cards aren't normally A2 size and that also makes her unique. BUT WHAT I LOVE is her periodic 'SHOW ME THURSDAY' blogs, where she shows you what her desk looks like. So cool... like a treasure chest of goodies, trying to figure out what she's creating.
If you haven't checked her site out, please do.
Here's my scrapcave the other night. You can't see my Jared Padalecki calendar because it's still turned to July.
... I need a bigger room. Or a professional organizer to figure out this crazy mess in my room.
Wow! Very cool card! Love the flowers!
ReplyDeleteYour room looks just like mine...hehehe! It never stays organised though I plan on getting in there soon and clearing out some junk!
Wonderful card for your boss, or anyone for that matter. I agree, I love Jeni cards too, they're always amazing. Fun looking at your desk, looks familiar!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card! Beautifully done, m'dear. And um, yeah....I think you need more space for your junk! LOL!
