A card, a photo, and a video... in that order

One of my colleagues is being promoted to a managerial spot!!! It's a huge promotion so I made him this card to be signed by his friends.  I used George and Basic Cricut Cartridge to cut the letters out.  I put some Stickles to bling the letters up.

I used Paper Trey Ink's TIcket die cut and corresponding stamp to leave areas for people to sign on.

I think I like making envelopes more than cards.  HAHA.  I used Jenni Bowlin Inks and Hero Arts inks. The Congratulations stamp came from Scattered Showers Stamp set from Paper Trey Ink.

I wanted to share with you a very unique dance audition on So You Think You Can Dance.
It's very different... not traditionally thought as dance to most.

Thank you...

Here's a card I made for a friend of mine....  Look at this Warrior!!!  Look at his calves and thighs... hey wait! those are mine!!!!

I am working on another card using Bonibleaux Designs but I haven't had time yet to make it.  I hope to work on that tomorrow night.  Happy Tuesday everyone!

The wheezing is subsiding....

I'm cheating.  I made this card last spring but I have nothing to show you guys... and I just wanted to post something to say that I'm still alive.  I used the Create a Critter cartridge and Cuttlebug (thank you embossing folder).

Sorry, I've been absent. I'm working on a mini book (still) and I'm still congested.  I had to relent and see the doctor today.  I'm armed with an anti-inflammatory bronchial inhaler as well as cough syrup (heavier).  The inhaler is already working.  [I asked him if I could go back to spin class (cycling) on Thursday. He looked over his frames at me and said "Maybe NEXT Thursday."]  boo hiss.

My mini album is coming along. I put a lot of work into it and I hope it (a) stays glued together (b) looks good. I hope to finish it this weekend.

To commemorate my ability to breathe (without coughing or hacking or wheezing), I've selected one of my favorite songs called "Breathe" ....  Check it out--  oh, and it's ok to let your head bop up and down....    :)   [Someone throw me some glow sticks.]

Boss's Day

I thought I'd share the card that I made for my boss for boss's day. I tried to make it masculine with the colors but threw in the flower to add color. When you open the S-card, there is a photo of him and me at an event. Haha. He's going to laugh.

If you made a card like this for someone, you could put anything in the area where the photo is. There is also a small vertical rectangle area on the inside of the card that you can write a sentiment or note, as well.

As you can see, I used the "Thank you" cuttlebug embossing folder. The rest is the George and Basic Cricut cartridge (I used the Design Studio software to fit it into the card area). I got the flower at Michaels ("Daisy Doodles.") I faux-stitched in white around the green edge.
