Halloween with La-la Land Crafts

I've been watching Suzanne Dean's YOU TUBE and Sandy Allnook's YOU TUBE videos to try to improve my Copic coloring.
VOILA

The background stamp is a Stampendous stamp on orange cardstock.
The bat paper was a small paper pack from Michaels.  The ribbon was from Michaels last year.
The circular chip board was from a K&CO set.  The image came from La-la land Crafts and colored with Copics.

This is the inside of the card.  I used the stamps from Scrappy Mom's with Black Ink (Memento ink).

This was made with the same background. The "BEWARE" came from the same chipboard set.
The red cardstock was stamped with a white background stamp from Ali Edwards.

The stamps are from an Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday stamp set that I picked up at my local stamp store, Stamp Fever.

Amuse-bouche:
My neighbor had this gigantic inflatable coffin in his yard.  Every so often, the vampire would swing open the lid and sit up.  Sammy found this ... extremely disturbing... (see next photo)

Sam was muttering to himself.... THIS IS NOT RIGHT...

True to form..., here I am in my costume... a "Jack Russell" terrier.

Some Halloween cards.... and Dog Ties at the Fair....

Here is a selection of Halloween cards I made...  The stickers were on sale at Michaels (last year).  Ribbon is Halloween ribbon that I've collected (from Michaels) over the last 2 yrs.  Cuttlebug embossing folders... and VOILA!

Amuse-bouche:
I found a cute little stand with dog/cat/horse paraphernalia.  Here's the link if you're interested in shopping (the baseball caps are adorable).  The vendor is out of Irvine, CA and it's called:
Purrfect Pets

She had these little dog ties for sale...  I got one for Colt (with golf clubs on it).  I also got one for Sam but it's hard to see.

Here is Colt with his fellow dog-training friends during class, wearing his tie (LOL).  They're on a 'down-stay' and have to stay there until they are called.
LOL!

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween!!!   I used this freebie from Marlene!  Isn't she cute???  I also added some embellishment stickers that were on sale at Michael's today.  I put Glossy Accents on the little girl's glasses and I put marigold flocking powder on the costume (Martha Stewart flocking powder).  The purple strip of paper was made with a combination of Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Concord Grape, and Victorian Velvet).  I blended them all with a blending pad (this is how I've seen Britta Swiderski do it). The web paper and the tree paper was part of a Martha Stewart set that measured about 4x6" and was on clearance today at Michael's.  I rarely buy her paper because it's pricier and I'm not into some of her patterns but this set was really cute.

This sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's. The background on the purple distressed paper was stamped with a Dazzled Versamark ink pad using the Penny Black Halloween (clear stamps). It's called "Trick or Treat" and you can get them at Simon Says Stamp.

Amuse-bouche:
My neighbor put up a cute little display on his front lawn so I had the boys put on their costumes and Viola!
Sammy is a skunk. Look at him EYEING me...

He's playing dead

SamUL meets the Toilet Paper Roll...

Ha. This card reminds me of the time, Sammy took the toilet paper and ran it into the living room.

The image came from Pink Cat Studios.  I used Copics and white flocking powder (with a dash of Glossy Accents on the nose).  The spiders were made with a Martha Stewart punch, Sakura glitter pen, and a red bling dot.  Spellbinders is the diecut used.

Scrappy Moms sentiment and stamp (white ink and white embossing powder).  Martha Stewart GOO punch...

Sentiment from Scrappy Moms

The Walking Dead...

Check out Zane from Bonibleaux Designs...  He reminds me of "The Walking Dead."  [New season started on Sunday.]  I put some Glossy Accents on his 'toof' and his mesmerizing eyes!

Black distress ink around the edges.  Ribbon from Michaels (so cute).

Amuse-bouche:
A new sandwich shop opened up next to my office.  It's called "Whichwich" and apparently is nation-wide.  I had the chance to try one of their sandwiches last week. L.O.V.E.D. it.  I like it because they have a lot of vegetarian sandwiches with so many options.  Based on the office talk, the Turkey with cranberry and stuffing is supposedly 'da bomb.'

Happy Halloween

Here is another Halloween card....  I can't find where I found this image. I'm pretty sure it's Simple Betty Stamps but I can't find the image to show you the link.
I also used Scrappy Mom's Bewitched stamp set.  The word bubble came from a $1 stamp set at Michael's $1 section.  Copics were my instrument of choice.  I also used Glossy Accents on the eyes of the skull (on the skateboard) as well as the red flesh on the neck. Pink Stickles was used on the gum on the shoe... Oh, and my Martha Stewart Halloween web punch is laced at the bottom.

I used silver pen on the wheels for the skateboard, the eyes, and the belt buckle

Sticker is a K&Co sticker.  Sentiment was embossed with white powder- from Scrappy mom's.  Deckle scissors were used to cut the sentiment out.

Happy Fall/ Halloween card

This is a Happy Fall/Halloween card.  The image on the front is from Paper Trey Ink.  The sentiment came with this image.  "Vintage Picnic" is the name of the PTI stamp set.  The acorns came from a Lawn Fawn stamp set.  I used Stickles to bling my acorn up and the screws on the basket.  The sentiment was stamped in Jenni Bowlin's Brown Sugar Ink.

This sentiment came from Scrappy Mom's set.  It was heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The image itself was purchased at Simon Says Stamps and colored with Copics.
I also used silver gel pen on the teeth.  The image is Penny Blacks!
