More Copics coloring-- with a La-La Land Stamp

Using my La-la Land image of Boy Wonder, I practiced my Copics coloring.  I seem to do ok with the hair highlights ... and then there are no further highlights. LOL.

The background was made with embossed with a combination of Lawn Fawn and Technique Tuesday images on watercolor paper.  Then, I used my Distress Stains (Faded Jeans, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass) to create the background. I sprayed the cardstock with Pearl Mist.

The image was posted on a Spellbinders Nestabilities die cut.  The earth and planet and stars were colored with Copics and came from a Technique Tuesday stamp set.  I colored the stars with my clear gel sparkle pen.

I added Glossy Accents to the eyes and boots! There is glitter gel pen on the cuffs and the gold star.

Halloween with La-la Land Crafts

I've been watching Suzanne Dean's YOU TUBE and Sandy Allnook's YOU TUBE videos to try to improve my Copic coloring.

The background stamp is a Stampendous stamp on orange cardstock.
The bat paper was a small paper pack from Michaels.  The ribbon was from Michaels last year.
The circular chip board was from a K&CO set.  The image came from La-la land Crafts and colored with Copics.

This is the inside of the card.  I used the stamps from Scrappy Mom's with Black Ink (Memento ink).

This was made with the same background. The "BEWARE" came from the same chipboard set.
The red cardstock was stamped with a white background stamp from Ali Edwards.

The stamps are from an Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday stamp set that I picked up at my local stamp store, Stamp Fever.

My neighbor had this gigantic inflatable coffin in his yard.  Every so often, the vampire would swing open the lid and sit up.  Sammy found this ... extremely disturbing... (see next photo)

This card was made using a Technique Tuesday stamp (the outline of the sentiment).  The sentiment came from Scrappy Mom's.  The cow is from Paper Smooches and the ribbon was $1.50 at Michaels.  I put the clear gel pen from Sakura over the outline of the Technique Tuesday stamp to bling it up a bit.
At the very bottom of the matte is a Lawn Fawn outline stamp that I used Stickles to bling up the dots.
This card measures 4.25"x4.25."

I've been working on some cards so I actually have something to share.
My friend loves the original Dark Shadows series and I just happened to see this at Target so naturally....

Here is the card that I made her.  Yes, that is a photo of her from the 80's.  I used a new stamp from Lawn Fawn that I picked up at my local stamp store (Stamp Fever in Orange, CA).  I used my Hero Arts ink pad (that I also bought) and my Cuttlebug embossing folder.  TA- DA!!!!

Well, this sentiment "Best Friend,  (seriously)" came from a really cute 'girlfriend' set from Technique Tuesday.  Truth be known, I have several "BFF's."  What can I say?  I'm always talking; I need to have several BFF's or they'd all flee when they see me coming (my gums flapping... arms waving about, gesticulating about my crazy life).  If you put a conversation bubble over their head it would say "Will she EVER SHUT UP???"

The stamp was stamped in Mambo Melon from Stampin' UP.  I hand cut the image out.

The "enjoy" stamp is from Paper Smooches stamped with my new Hero Arts stamp (Wet Cement).  The matte was cut from Spellbinders Nestabilities.  The little owl was colored with Copics and I think it's a Brian Lock image (from Squigglefly).  My hard drive hasn't yet been transferred so I don't have a way to reference where my images came from.

Tomorrow, I'm going to show you templates so you can make homemade square envelopes for your  square cards.

Things are so much better with friends!

I do love this stamp from Penny Black.  The sentiment came from Hero Arts.   I am still trying to practice my Copics coloring (it appears I will need A LOT of practice).

The envelope was stamped with my Technique Tuesdays sentiment and a Hero Arts bicycle stamp, using Jenni Bowlin ink.

I picked up this stamp at Stamp Fever a couple weekends ago. I really like this little stamp shop. They sell Penny Black!!!   :)

I wanted to show you these cards I made using this Ali Edwards' image via Technique Tuesdays.  

This was on craft cardstock, stamped with newpaper print from Paper Trey Ink and  Hero Arts Cling stamp.  The image was colored with COPICS and cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities

This sentiment came from the Technique Tuesdays set and stamped with Jenni Bowlin ink.  The Spellbinders Nestabilities was the diecut used.

Apparently, Sammy felt that the potato on the counter should be eaten and put it in his blanket area.  (sigh).  There goes my baked potato.
