Darcie's Heart and Home stamp set.... and Ezra Gets a Sundress

I had gotten a new stamp set... Darcie's Heart and Home: "You Nailed It."  This has some cute masculine images.  I believe you can purchase this brand through Simon Says Stamp.

The light purple background is from Hero Arts.  The little black dash pattern is from Lawn Fawn.

I have held off on getting Ezra a dress because I thought, "no need" but this was on Sale at Petsmart and I just thought 'what the heck.'

A CARD FOR A BOY...

I made this card for my friend's son.  (It's my best shot at a masculine/boy's card).

The clouds were hand-cut.  I used a cloud stamp from a stamp set I bought at Stamp Fever.  The stamp set is from Studio Calico/Hero Arts called "Hooray."  The cloud was stamped with "soap powder" from Jenni Bowlin ink.
The airplane image is from Tremendous Treats from Paper Trey Ink.  I colored it with Copics and a silver gel pen/Stickles.  The edges were dusted with Distress Ink (sponge pad).

The sentiment stamp is from Mary at CardzTV.

Watch Out!!! A New Driver on the Road

One of my friends FINALLY got his driver's license.  I told him to warn us all when he's on the road.

Here's a fun little card I made him.   Using Copics, Paper Smooches sentiment, and Nestabilities... I tried my best to bring this image from Bugaboo Stamps  to life.    And of course, I had to make a corresponding envelope. 

I put Glossy Accents on the windshield and Silver Gel pen on the bumper/rims.  I used little brads on the hubcaps.

Calling all Tech-ies...

I made this card for my friend's husband who answered all my questions about the new iPad and which one I should get (should I order one... which I plan to... just don't know when (probably when iPad 8 comes out- haha! j/k). I wanted to make him a card to thank him for all his patience and advice and information.  I found this image on Mo's Digital Pencil.  She has great images!!! I love them.  

The background stamp is a 'clock' background stamp from Hero Arts that I clear embossed.  I used a Spellbinder Nestabilities to frame my image.  The image was colored with Copics.

Copics with Luka

I have been watching Copics tutorials on YouTube.  In the past, I just used the pens to color.  No rhyme or reason.  After watching these tutorials, I feel more confident on shading.  I still need to watch more videos and practice but, I am very proud of my coloring on this.   (I'm almost like Tammy  ) I got the image below at La-La Land Crafts.  

Here is a card I made using "Luka" (see link above).  There are download digis and rubber stamps to buy. I LOVE the hose.  (I know that sounds lame but... I love how I colored that hose... and the shoes).
