A wedding card.... and more photos from Seattle!

I made this card for a friend who recently got married. The background is an embossed Hero Arts stamp with Worn Lipstick Distress Inkpad applied.  The little wedding bells are from Stampin' Up and I wrote over the Hero Arts Soft Lilac ink with a clear sparkle Sakura pen (from Michaels).  The sentiment "wedding wishes" is from Lawn Fawn.  The LOVE stamp is stamped with Cough Syrup by Jenni Bowlin.

Amuse-bouche:
Here are some fun photos from my Seattle trip with Mr. Schrute...  Notice the culinary theme... LOL
More photos to come....

View of Pike Place Market looking south

We thought the name of this restaurant on the north side of Pike Place was funny

This Starbucks is across from Pike Place. It doesn't look like my local Starbucks.

Fish market at Pike Place.

Fruit Market at Pike Place. My friend bought some and really enjoyed them.

I tried this peach. They were giving samples. It was beyond awesome.

I'm sure there are some of you in the blogging community that see fruit like this all the time. This was a beautiful sight to me!

Look at those veggies!

This is like a sea creature: Broccoli Romanesco!

This is me in front of the gum wall (at Pike Place)

Rest assured, I'm actually about 4 inches from the wall....

Here we are at Chateau St. Michelle winery

SHELDON COOPER!!! :)

I love raw oysters.  It was harder to find in Seattle than I thought it would be.  I got them across from Pike Place at a place called "Jack's"

The Ghost Adventure crew did a show on this pub. It's haunted.

A Lawn Fawn Challenge... and photos from Seattle

Here's my 'texture' card that I'm going to enter in the Lawn Fawn challenge.   The clouds were cut from my My Favorite Things die cut and run through my cuttlebug.  I colored with Copics all the images from my Lawn Fawn "Critters on the Farm," "Critters Down Under," and "Critters in the Burbs"  set.  Distress inks were used for the sky and grass.

This card is a good luck card for someone's first day on the job!!!

Amuse-bouche:
I went up to Seattle over the weekend of that infamous Seahawks vs. Packers game.
I'll be posting more photos from that infamous weekend over the next few cards...

We had excellent weather... as you can see.

I was very fortunate to get this great photo of a squirrel.

This is the troll under the bridge at the intersection of Troll Avenue N and 36th.

This is the view from our friend's driveway!

These are photos from the Chihuly Museum. Click HERE  for the link.

The Stanley Cup... and me... and Bailey

The Stanley cup came to my place of employment and I was lucky enough to get a photo with the Stanley Cup!

Here I am, in my Marty McSorley jersey....

And here I am with Bailey, the KINGS' mascot...

I'll be working on cards this weekend...  :)  I promise....  :)

Wait! One more thing...

Some Halloween cards.... and Dog Ties at the Fair....

Here is a selection of Halloween cards I made...  The stickers were on sale at Michaels (last year).  Ribbon is Halloween ribbon that I've collected (from Michaels) over the last 2 yrs.  Cuttlebug embossing folders... and VOILA!

Amuse-bouche:
I found a cute little stand with dog/cat/horse paraphernalia.  Here's the link if you're interested in shopping (the baseball caps are adorable).  The vendor is out of Irvine, CA and it's called:
Purrfect Pets

She had these little dog ties for sale...  I got one for Colt (with golf clubs on it).  I also got one for Sam but it's hard to see.

Here is Colt with his fellow dog-training friends during class, wearing his tie (LOL).  They're on a 'down-stay' and have to stay there until they are called.
LOL!

Scenes from the LA Fair... and some tags!

I made these tags using a library card die cut from Paper Trey Ink, a 2.5 Circle cutter, Lawn Fawn telephone stamp with sentiment and some fun scissors.  They're being attached to a bag of candy.
The back side of the tags were stamped with the 'click clack' sentiment from Lawn Fawn as well as their paper clip stamp!

Amuse-bouche:    A few weeks ago, we went to the LA fair (Yea, I'm SOO behind on sharing photos with y'all).  It was about 106 degrees in the Los Angeles basin....  Here are scenes from the fair, including a super cute little lamb (seen 3 photos below)

This little guy was so sweet.

I wanted to take him home!!!

This guy reminded me of a poodle

My favorite Fish and Zucchini stand was not at the fair this year.  So I resorted to these zucchini curls and Chicken Charlie's.  YUMMY!!!  I accidentally got bbq sauce instead of ketchup. SUPER YUMMY

I tried the "Heartland" grilled cheese sandwich:  sweet onion, aged cheddar, baby swiss cheese, beefsteak tomato and red onion on multi-grain bread.  Yummy.

Love this little pond/waterfall...

My mother - showing the 'deep fried watermelon'   (We didn't try it).

My parents, armed with all their purchases from the fair.
