Here's another card I've been trying to create but just not sure what the sentiment should be. Due to the partial nudity of the image involved, scroll down to see the card.
I used my Copics and a spellbinder diecut. The sentiment comes from my Scrappy Moms stamp set.
I used Tea Dye and Walnut Distress ink as well as Memento Cocoa ink for the sentiment.
Excuse the fur but I live in a small zoo. Should you see a Chiweenie running by with glue dots on his face, please stop him. I need those dots.

A belated Valentine's card....
Using my Hero Arts background stamp, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Lawnfawn Stamps, Scrappy Mom's sentiment stamp (Love is in the Air), Penny Black stamp (airplane and stamp)... I created this little doosey!!!
Copics were used to color the image. The background stamp was created using Watercolor paper, Pickled Raspberry Distress Ink (and a water mister), and white embossing powder. I did use the clear glitter pen on the Love banner to make it glitter a bit...
Happy Wednesday!!!

A single layer card... You are UNIQUE!
I recently got this cute stamp set from Paper Smooches and this card popped into my head. Literally POPPED!!! Bam!
I used Rangers' Archival Ink. Memento Ink just didn't come out dark enough. ***Perhaps I might need a wee bit of re-inking?***
I used a sentiment from another Paper Smooches set : "You are Unique." I stamped it inside the card (not shown).
The image was colored with Copics.
Have a great week.

No card today.... just a photo update....
It's been 1 week since Ezra has come to live with us. She has had 8 teeth extracted, gotten new clothing, and slowly adjusted to life at our zoo.
Her gums have pretty much healed however she's still eating canned food... (at least until her follow up visit), she has gone for a number of car rides, gone to Petsmart TWICE to look for more outfits, went on a very long walk (although she was carried part of the way), eaten at Rubios, and seen her new Grandma and Grandpa several times.
She also has learned the ways of the household and the new sounds: the Labrador next door that barks, the young college kids who have friends over- prompting her and Colt and Sam to stand on my bed (and use a few pillows as boosters) to watch them diligently, the squirrel marathon that Colt has- running back and forth as the squirrel runs overhead on the telephone lines (She still can't figure out why he bothers), and finally... WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS LIVING IN THE OTHER BEDROOM??? LOL. She finally noticed there are a chinchillas in the other bedroom. It was like being a Disneyland- her eyes were WIDE OPEN.
She still has her sad moments but she's doing better.
On the other hand, SamUL has had to learn to share and has been nipped at a few times for his overzealous behavior. Both boys are learning that Ezra is no-nonsense and doesn't want to participate in their tomfoolery.
Here are some recent photos, including a nice new shot at the local park.
See you soon with a card. I've been busy with work but I hope to have some time to craft tomorrow.
Happy Presidents' Day. I hope you have something fun planned to celebrate!

It's not even bedtime and they've been like this for the last 4 hours! |

Ezra, in her reflective harness, waiting for a very small piece of chicken. She's small- about 13 lbs. |

An elegant Valentine's Day card... with Penny Black
Using my Scrappy Moms sentiments with my Versamark pad, I created this background for my image. The image is colored with Copics and used some Tumbled Glass ink. I didn't do any fancy shading on the dress. The flowers are from the $1.00 bin at Michaels.

Smile Crocodile.... and a new adoption...
Here's an image I've had colored for a long time and partially put together months ago.... Just needed a sentiment and to put it together.
It's a Sassy Cheryl's image with Spellbinder diecut (and cuttlebug folder). The sentiment and dotted line is from Lawn Fawn.
Amuse-bouche:
On Friday, I got an email about a little dog who needed to find a home, FAST. She had lived with her family from 8 weeks old until her current age of 13. They were now needing to place her and if she wasn't taken by Tuesday, she would be taken to the pound.
SO... Here's Ezra. She appears to be an Italian Greyhound/Jack Russell mix. Tomorrow, Ezra is having a dental (with probably 6 extractions due to infected teeth).... She's a little sad now... And the vet thinks she's had this dental infection for 5 years. It affects what she eats.
I'm hoping with the extractions, cleaning, and antibiotics, she'll be able to eat anything without any pain. I'm hoping this also changes her disposition as she has been very quiet and just sleeping.
Today, she got a new collar, a cute sweatshirt and harness.
So.... HERE'S EZRA...
And not to be left out... SamUL and Colt.
Sam is chewing on his chew toy that looks remarkably like a pair of men's....
My gentle giant... :) |

I LOVE PENNY BLACK....
I know I say that every few posts but I just got a few new PB images and I am just in love with her animals series.... her farm animals, her critters in London-- and now check this one out....
AREN'T THEY CUTE???? O-My-Lanta....
I colored with Copics, and added some Distress Ink on the edges to brighten the cardstock. The background was created on watercolor paper with Distress Ink Pads (similar to the technique that Kristina Werner used on a recent card). The colors I used were Chipped Sapphire, Tumbled Glass, and Dusty Concord. I then waited for the colors to dry and then stamped with White Colorbox ink "Thank U" from my Inkadinkadoo clear stamp set from Michaels.
If you want to see the video that shows how to do the background, go to the link from Kristina Werner: click HERE.

Feeling the pressure?
LOL
I got this digital image from somewhere (I can't recall). I'm sorry. I colored it with Copics. The sentiment and the eyeballs came from Paper Smooches recent stamp set having to do with household appliances.
I wrote the word "SQUISH" inside....
Amuse-bouche:
Starting a new Netflix series: House of Cards with Kevin Spacey.... hope it's good. I'm on episode 2.

Poppin' up to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY...
Using my Spellbinders Nestabilities and Lawn Fawn Stamps, I created this birthday card. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn as well. I did put Glossy Accents all over the toaster...
The card actually measures 4.25x4.25"

Monday Blues....
I love this Brian Lock image. I've used it a few times before. It's so versatile in this crazy world. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms. The die cut is from Spellbinders Nestabilities. I did use an old Stampin' up (spiral) stamp and the flower is from Lawn Fawn ("Bee Mine.") I put a drop of Ranger's Enamel in the center of the flower.
Enjoy your week!!!

Simon Says Stamp Challenge with Penny Black
I'm entering this in the SSS Challenge. They request that a Penny Black stamp is used although you don't have to. Here's a new stamp set I got. I used Copics and some Distress Inks.
Amuse-Bouche:
Today it was very warm out so I took the boys out for a walk. I snapped a few photos of them....
