Excuse the fur but I live in a small zoo. Should you see a Chiweenie running by with glue dots on his face, please stop him. I need those dots.

Simply to give cheer...
My friend needed a little cheer, so I made her this card. The images are from Paper Trey Ink. I used Tumbled Glass ink to create the sky. The sentiment came from Hero Arts. I went over the hearts and the sentiment with my Sakura clear sparkling gel pen.
The image was colored with Copics.
The diecut is from Spellbinders. There is a light lavender wood grain stamp from Hero Arts. The sentiment came from Hero Arts.

Using Lawn Fawn to create background paper... my entry for the challenge
Lawn Fawn is having a challenge and I thought I'd take the challenge.
Here's my entry...
So, I took the Lawn Fawn Summer watermelon set and stamped my line of ants in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I stamped the large ant (from the set) in Green (Hero Arts MidTone). I used Copics to color the little watermelons and cut them out and glued them to the background paper. The background paper is white but I used "Pumice Stone" ink pads to color up the edges and make the paper look worn.
The image is one I got at a stamp convention 13 years ago. I believe the company is Inky Antics. I love this moose. I colored him with Copics. The ribbon is from Michaels $1 bin.
The die cut is from Paper Trey Ink stamped with a Hero Arts woodgrain stamp and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Camping sentiment set.

Happy Monday!
I saw Kristina Werner use these googly eyes on her Paper Smooches image. Here's my version...
The background was diecut with my spellbinder nestabilities. I applied Glossy Accents on the bones.
The bottom border is some dog paper that I had and I just cut the border with scissors.
More Spellbinders Nestabilities and a Hero Arts sentiment!
Amuse-Bouche:
I started a book yesterday called The Case of the Missing Servant by Tarquin Hall. Fabulous book!!! It's like the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency but set in India. Such a cute book!
Highly recommend it!

Oh Happy (birth) Day...
I thought I'd send an entry to the Simon Says Stamp challenge, "Animal Antics." Unfortunately, I missed the deadline-- Doh!!!
HAHA.
I used this Paper Smooches stamp and a (clearance) Hero Arts cloud stamp. Whaddya think? The sentiment came from a Clear Hero Arts stamp set, placed on a Lawn Fawn Banner (Can I drop any more company names?)
Here's my message inside, stamped with stamps from my Hero Arts Birthday stamp. I love the little cupcake stamp.

Maui Sea Turtles...
I love sea turtles. I once swam next to a HUGE (5 feet?) sea turtle in Maui. I thought it was a shark. Apparently, the little sea turtle that I had been following was a close family relative.(LOL).
I created this card with my new lawn fawn borders stamp and some homemade stitching.
The sea turtle die cut is from Memory Box.
I threw some bling to spice it up...
:)
Have a great week!

Having a bad day?...
Isn't this a super cute image? Unfortunately, this is me on a daily basis.... The brads are from Michaels, the little arrows were from a set that my dear friend gave me for a gift. I think she got them at Michaels but I'm not 100% sure. I used Spellbinders to cut the circle and then brushed the edges with Red Barn Distress Ink. I then glued it onto a purple circle. The sentiment came from... uh oh. I think it's Hero Arts. :(

More photos from Comic-Con 2012
To celebrate the new Batman movie, they had about 7 Bat-vehicles out. This one was my favorite. Look at those wings!!!! Check out those hubcaps.
Do you all remember this one? From the tv show? (BAM!.... WHACK!)
These two guys were in costume for "The Walking Dead."
Now for those of you with kids, they might know what this is. I had no idea what it was. Apparently, it's a TV show on Cartoon Network called "The Regular Show."
My nephews were so excited to see this. LOL
Another character that I have no idea who it is but my nephews knew who he was.
Always a crowd favorite with the little boys.... (and big boys).
This little kid was so cute in his outfit!
LOL: Check out this warrior's outfit.
Who knew these guys drank Sprite?

To my wonderful friends here in this blogging community....
... who leave little comments even though they have SOOO many other obligations.... I say "Moo-chas gracias!!!" I send you all HUGS!
Thank you all for leaving such kind comments. It's too bad we live all over the world (Viv is in another SEASON fer goodness sakes!). I think we'd have a wonderful time chatting over pie and tea. :)
This card was made using a Technique Tuesday stamp (the outline of the sentiment). The sentiment came from Scrappy Mom's. The cow is from Paper Smooches and the ribbon was $1.50 at Michaels. I put the clear gel pen from Sakura over the outline of the Technique Tuesday stamp to bling it up a bit.
At the very bottom of the matte is a Lawn Fawn outline stamp that I used Stickles to bling up the dots.
This card measures 4.25"x4.25."

A Supernatural Surprise...
I went to this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, CA last month. It's always fun seeing all the exhibits, displays and panels. Some highlights this year included hearing the Dexter panel, Bones panel, Supernatural panel, Doctor Who panel, and catching up with some friends who we've met in previous years.
One such friend enjoys Supernatural (the TV show). And so I made her this card.... and shipped it off to NYC.
Dwight came along this trip... Here he is with Chewbacca, nearly getting his head chewed off.
Fabulous costume!!!!
This was the display for THE HOBBIT. Gianormous!!! (I thought of you, Glo!)
LOL!
These kids were outside the Doctor Who panel. The little girl was a Weeping Angel. If you don't know what a Weeping Angel is, click HERE to see the video. WARNING: It's a 5 minute video from the episode of Doctor Who. It is a bit creepy :)

The embellishments are from Michaels. The polaroid frame is from Lawn Fawn (as well as the sentiment).
I stuck some googley eyes on there to give it a creepy feeling (C'mon, the show is called Supernatural--- it has to have some creepy feel to it).
The guys are, well... the Winchester brothers. Enuf said.
Here is a sample of some of the fabulous memories from this year. Thank you again, L, for the great camera shots.
***Drumroll please***
From the Bionic Woman (and 6 Million Dollar Man....) OSCAR GOLDMAN... (and me!)
I think I scared the man with my glee and exuberant behavior. Thankfully security wasn't called.
(Being a huge Bionic Woman fan, this was simple a dream come true! I met Jamie Sommers/ Lindsay Wagner two years ago.... Next year... Steve Austin! LOL)

Lawn Fawn- Down Under....
I would love to go to Australia and New Zealand... (HELLO Viv!).
I used to have penpals in both countries when I was in high school. Unfortunately, we lost track of each other. Having said that, both countries are very dear to me. I made this card using the Lawn Fawn stamp set. I colored it with Copics. (I still can't color very well- but I have a plethora of videos to watch on how to use my Copics pens). The ribbon came from Michaels. I also used "Spellbinder Nestabilities."
The banner is from Lawn Fawn stamps.
This postcard stamp used below is also from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment and birthday cake came from Hero Arts. The pink washi tape is from Recollections (at Michaels). The white 'snowflake' is from... one of those stamps sets (I hope). Don't hold me to it.
Amuse-bouche:
I finished Gone Girl. FABULOUS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.
