A gaggle of mini cards...

I needed to make a handful of 'congrats' type cards.  Using 4 main images (from Alley Way stamps and Paper Smooches), I created these mini-cards:
I colored the images with Copics.  The 'conversation bubbles' I created by hand.

Have a fun Monday!!!!

Darcie's Heart and Home stamp set.... and Ezra Gets a Sundress

I had gotten a new stamp set... Darcie's Heart and Home: "You Nailed It."  This has some cute masculine images.  I believe you can purchase this brand through Simon Says Stamp.

The light purple background is from Hero Arts.  The little black dash pattern is from Lawn Fawn.

Amuse-bouche:
I have held off on getting Ezra a dress because I thought, "no need" but this was on Sale at Petsmart and I just thought 'what the heck.'

Thank you... from Lawn Fawn

I recently went to an animal rescue donation event and the hosts were so generous that I had to send them a thank you card.  Using my Copics and a huge selection of Lawn Fawn stamps, I created this scene.  For those of you who know my boy, Colt, he loves to watch the squirrel that runs the phone lines...

One of the hosts is a Stampin' Up demonstrator and had some stamps for sale to donate.  The brick wall below is a stamp that I took from her stash.  I don't think it's a SU stamp but I love this stamp. I use my "W" Copics and voila, I made a brick wall  (Yes, *I* colored the wall).

Fun Fun Fun!!!!

This sentiment came from a dog-oriented clear stamp set from Michaels.  The diecuts are from Spellbinders.  The hosts were avid dog lovers....  I knew they'd understand this sentiment.

Quinn's ABC's with Lawn Fawn

A very simple birthday card, using Quinn's ABC's, my critter Lawn Fawn stamps, and bright Copic colors....  The balloons are from a Stampin' Up set.  I drew in the balloon strings.  I like the bright colors and the white background from the Neenah Solar White cardstock (I'm so thankful I didn't get fingerprint smudges on it).
After using this stamp (alphabet) set, I purchased the diecuts.  It's really hard to cut the insides for the letters (like "a" or "p").

Another Sweet Hello Card...

Another sweet Penny Black image, with a Spellbinder Impressibility embossing sheet.  I don't think I put enough cardstock to make the embossed image more defined  :(
I put a white gel pen dot in the middle of all the flowers.  It's hard to see here.

The little 'hello' came from a Paper Trey Ink set.

Have a great weekend, my friends.  Ezra has a doctor appointment on Saturday to have a bump on her face looked at (Oh joys!  She is NOT going to be happy at the doctor poking around her mouth).

My Baby Gift Card holder...

I've been having a creative block. I feel like all my cards look the same and even sketches don't help me.   It was getting me down...

Long story short, my friend reminded me that I don't have to always make a A2 size card. LOL.  She reminded me of a recent video from Mary at Cardztv, creating an easel card. I made this card using my only baby-oriented images.  (Yes, I know you've seen them before. It's the only set I have related to babies.  It's a wonderful set though! (from Stampin' Up)).  I love the way this turned out.
I did put Glossy Accents on the bubbles and used Liquid Pearls on the dots on the 'onesies?'   The gift card is in a coin envelope that is glued to the base behind the popped up panel ("congrats").
Mind you, I am getting the Lawn Fawn baby stamp set because I think I need a back up baby stamp set.

ALSO, I cleaned my garage AND my scrapbooking room (only to find that I think I need to get another desk in this room because it's too crowded in here)... and in the course of doing so, I couldn't find the cord for my camera to transfer my photos.  Well, this morning I found it.  YAY. I was able to load my photos and hopefully, I'll have more cards for you this week. (Warning-- "A2 size" with the same sketch pattern).

The gang's all here...

A simple hello card using some Alley Way Stamps and Penny Black (for the background).
Such a cute array of canines.....

I colored with Copics... and cut the images out (Note: The fire hydrant is a Lawn Fawn image)...

Happy Tuesday!

A new member of the workforce...

One of my friend's little girl,  just got her first job at Chik-Fil-A.  It is her first job and she is very excited to have it. SO.... I made this little card, using my Free Alley Way Stamp that I got in May.  If you haven't seen the line of stamps, you should check it out.  Very cute stuff....
I took the sentiments from Lawn Fawn's Office set (I think it's called Just Your Type) and I only used certain words/letters to create the sentiment.   The coloring is Copics.

Amuse-bouche:
I've been walking the dogs 4 miles around town.  Ezra lasts about 1 mile (if that) and then she gets in her stroller and coasts the rest of the way.  Here we are at the local park.

More Penny Black... and a Chinese Crested Dog

I was using a 'OWH' sketch to help me plan the card.  This darling image is one of my favorite ones from the London series from Penny Black. The banner is from Lawn Fawn (I added white polka dots to give it a bit of bling).  The butterfly is also from Lawn Fawn.

Amuse-bouche:

One of my favorite breeds of dogs--- Chinese Crested....  I'll probably never have one as they're really expensive and I usually adopt rescues/pound dogs.

We're rolling along.... with Penny Black

Penny Black has some of the cutest images.  I loved how the Distress Stains came out...

Amuse-bouche:
   Why the long face, Colt?

Ezra has one pose:  "Please no photographs.  The flash hurts my eyes."

A chinchilla xray- for your viewing pleasure....

One of my friends is on Weight Watchers and had lost 20+ pounds.  She is doing so well-- so I wanted to make her this card to give her a little encouragement.  If you're not familiar with Weight Watchers, they assign "points" to different foods (ergo the background paper).  I used some Lawn Fawn stamps to make fruit slices as fruits and veggies are 'zero' points, toward your daily intake.  The scale came from this super cute set from "Alley Way Stamps."  The stamps there are sooo cute. I used Copics to color the fruit slices.

Amuse-bouche:

One of my chinchillas, Dwight, has been a little ill. He hasn't been eating as much as he used to.  He's dropped about 100 grams in the last year and dramatically in the last month.  I've been hand-feeding him and giving him some (intestinal antibiotics) medicine in an attempt to kill any bacteria in his intestinal tract.   Chinchillas can be fussy eaters for 'no reason' so I hope we can surf this wave smoothly.

Here is 1 shot (of many) of Dwight's xrays.  [Yes, I had xrays done.]  I found this fascinating and thought I'd share. He looks like a pterodactyl.  If you look closely, you see what appears to be a 'beak.'  It's actually his two top teeth and two lower teeth (like a gopher or rabbit).  The roots of the tooth go along the top of the roof of the mouth... the bottom teeth roots trace along the line of the chin.  The two white glowing areas are his grinding molars (similar to ours) with roots going up into his sinus area and down near the base of his chin. One of the things we were ruling out was an abscess in the teeth root(s). That would have been very bad.  This is a good sign... however we still aren't 100% sure why he's not eating.

And here is Sam and Ezra at Rubios:
Yes, he is a "shrimp" and she is "special."
