Thank you card.... Stimpy has risen....

Another thank you gift card using Paper Smooches and Lawn Fawn stamps. The blue background is a Penny Black set I had purchased.  WHEEEE!

The bird was purchased with Paper Smooches.

Amuse-bouche:

Stimpy has woken up from his winter slumber. Here he is, eating lettuce... And guess who is waiting for him to walk away, so HE can eat the leftovers---- Yes, that would be SamUL!

And here's Ezra... enjoying the sunset,... watching the front driveway

Dr. Drew and Adam.... Moo-chas Gracias for a fine show!

Using my Create a Critter cow and Lawn Fawn stamps, I created this card with a coin envelope (for a gift card).  The sentiment is Scrappy Moms! I love their sentiments and fonts!

Amuse-bouche:

I recently saw Dr. Drew and Adam (Carolla) on their 'reunion tour' at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.
It was (as always) highly entertaining.

We also had a fabulous dinner at MB Post, in Manhattan Beach.  A MUST (although there might be a wait for a table) for some fabulous food. Hip Crowd.  (yes, that would be me and my friends.... we're HIP!... er rather, we have HIPS. LOL!)

Last thing,...
Check out Jenn's blog(Cookies, Cupcakes, & Cardio) on how to make a mother's day cupcake bouquet.  (It can be for any holiday).
I love her ideas and videos.

A Yummy Treat... and some photos from Hoover Dam

Another yummy card using a Lawn Fawn set and Copics markers.  A little spun sugar distress ink around the edges to conceal the 'coin envelope.'

Here I am overlooking the Colorado River... AT HOOVER DAM

Looking south, down the Colorado River

Looking North towards Lake Mead

Looking straight down from the observation area on the west side of the dam

Down below-- where the turbines are....

This is Isaiah.  I met him in the parking lot. Yup, always taking photos of random dogs (or animals)

Bunches of flowers...

Here's another card using a coin envelope.  The image and sentiment is from Paper Smooches. The wood grain is from Hero Arts.

Amuse-bouche:

I've always wanted to do this, and in NV... on a stretch of road, I was able to become... road kill.
LOL

here are two photos we took at sunset at the Valley of Fire.

Tomorrow.... Hoover Dam and a dog named Isiah.

Administrative Assistant Day...

Today is Administrative Assistant Day. For one of my cards, I used a coin envelope (from Staples) to hold a gift card.  The ice cream cone is from Lawn Fawn. I used Stickles to make little brown sparkly chocolate chips.

Amuse-bouche:

More from Valley of Fire, NV

Hieroglyphics on the wall

We hiked back in one area of the park to a place called the "Mouse Tank."  Back there we found a little bridge (See below)

There is a little rock bridge (looks like an index finger about 1/3 of the way down the photo

This is my attempt of using my reverse camera on my iphone.  You don't know HOW many shots it took for me to get this one.  LOL

Valley of Fire, NV and a baby gift card

I've got a lot of photos and CARDS to share with you....
Let's start with the card...

I clear embossed my baby stamp series from Stampin' Up.  Using Broken China and Tumbled Glass, I created a soft background (a splash of Perfect Pearls gave it a shimmer).  I colored over each baby with my finger dabber using Peacock Feather.  The umbrellas are from Paper Trey Ink's Scattered Showers, as is the sentiment.

Amuse-bouche:
So much to show you. I went on another photo trip to Valley of Fire, NV.  It was a quick trip.  Two days, up and back.  We had a grand time.  The weather was nice (low 80's).

This is the Valley of Fire, State Park in NV.

You can see up close the textures in the rockwall (holes and slates)

Doesn't this look like a little lamb? or bunny?

This reminds me of Mark Twain's Island (Disneyland, Anaheim, CA)

But as always, I was glad to get home to the boys and Ezra.

See you tomorrow!!! Yes, another post! (SHOCK... AWE!)
