I'm Late... I'm Late.... er, rather, BEHIND

I'm not even going to bother trying to make excuses on my delay in my posts. (LOL)
Here's my card:
I used the Paper Temptress Cryogen Paper that Tammy at Tammy's Spot recommended. The stamp is from Paper Smooches (white embossing powder).
The image is from "Dude Time Doodles"-- colored with Copics

Seriously, I have many photos to share with you from my 2012 Comic-Con adventure however very few cards to post with them.
It will be done--- eventually...

This envelope was made using "Lawn Fawn" stamps and Jenni Bowlin ink pads

It's that time of the year--- The Orange County Fair---
Here are some photos from our visit this year:

Fabulous shirt- I stopped him to take his photo because I loved his shirt.  He said you can get it at Wal-Mart

This was in an area showing old appliances.  Aren't those stoves cute?

A mini-stove!

Look at this beautiful Wizard of Oz quilt

Look at the details!

This little bag was made out of Capri Suns

We tried this-- Red Velvet Funnel Cake-- Couldn't really taste the "red velvet." Won't get it again but it was fun to share!

Mojo Monday Sketch

Well, I didn't submit it to the Mojo Monday Sketch (last week- haha), but I wanted to showcase it anyway.
This card knocked out many challenges for me. 1.  To use the "Sweet Nectar" (by K and Co) paper pad, that for some reason, I can't figure out what to do with.    2.  Try a sketch challenge  3.  Create a card that doesn't look like every other card I made by utilizing a 'sketch.'

The pink school paper was made with a Paper Trey Ink stamp set.    The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's.

Lawnscaping Challenge based on a Mojo Monday sketch

I have been struggling with making cards with designs different than my standard design that I have used repeatedly in the last few weeks.  I went to Mojo Mondays and used their sketch... and then skipped over to the Lawn Fawn challenge site (Lawnscaping) to see if I could challenge myself.

VOILA!!!

Enjoy!  It's been super warm here (loving it!).  Not so sure the chinchillas are happy about it.  Their AC unit has been going full blast.

A little 3.25x3.25" birthday card

I have an assortment package of little embellishments.  Most of the ones you see above are from that packet.
The file tab is a punch that I got from Michaels.  The stamp that says "TO DO  JUL 17 2012" is a stamp from K & Company's Smash book series.  The ledger paper is from an assortment from K and Company called "Sweet Nectar."

Inside:  there is a CreativeTimeForMe.com stamp that says "Happy Birthday."

A baby boy named Ian...

A friend of mine is expecting her third child.

Here is a gift card box that I made for my friend:

The sentiments were from a large 12x12 DCWV Baby Boy paper pack (and I cut the sentiments out and glued them to the panels).  I used Distress Ink around the edges of some of the sentiments (snail and "heaven sent").

Challenges...

Here is a birthday card I made a couple weeks ago that I have been meaning to post.

I used a Tiddly Inks image, Spellbinders Nestabilities diecute, and Paper Trey Ink's Tiny Tags.
"It's your Birthday" stamp came from a Hero Arts birthday set.  I used jump hooks (for bracelet making) on the tags.

The green ink was through Distress Ink Markers and an aqua brush.  The dog was colored with Copics.
